Puppy Training Program Includes:

Behaviors & Manners:

• Potty training
• Crate Training
• Adjusting to a normal household schedule (sleeping at night)
• Socialization with dogs and other animals, lots of people, different places, noises, surfaces, etc.
• Responding to a name
• Introducing the leash and collar
• Not nipping or mouthing people
• Accepting handling (brushing, nails, ear cleaning, etc.) calmly
• No jumping on people, doors, furniture, etc.
• Waiting politely and calmly for food
• Waiting at thresholds (doors, car, crate, etc.)
• Relaxing calmly when crated

7 Commands:

• “Let’s Go” - Walking on a loose leash and sitting when you stop
• “Sit” - And stay until released
• “Down” - Tummy/chest on the ground until you say otherwise
• “Place" - Stay on your bed/mat until released
• “Crate” - Go into your crate and stay there until released
• “Off” - To stop jumping on people or anything else
• “Wait” - To keep your dog from moving until told, like the front door or when you open the car door
